The shared data must be transparent and reproducible. Presented results within the manuscript must have the possibility of being reused and must be supported by a scientific research process, as a result of observations or experiments that validate the data.
Research data may include: raw data, processed data, software, algorithms, protocols, methods, materials, among others.
Authors may be asked to provide the research data supporting the results presented in their article as long as the individuals privacy or security involved in the research is not violated. In case the authors deny or are unable to share their data, they must justify their decision.
We encourage authors to provide a Data Availability Statement explaining whether additional unpublished data from the study exists, its availability, and how to obtain it.
It is the authors responsibility to ensure the consistency of provided data. Any error falls exclusively on the data producers.
